Amy Zimmerman is a producer, creator and entrepreneur focussed on the intersection of new technology, storytelling and environmental conservation.
Amy is an accomplished XR producer and mentor for impact driven, immersive technology. She was recently a Tribeca Immersive Film Festival Juror, Founder of Unity for Humanity and producer and writer of The Smithsonian’s Critical Distance AR Exhibit. She is currently the producer with a soon-to-be released new tech startup with a focus on creator tools.
Along with producing, Amy also runs the 44 Collective, an event space, cooperative food garden, alpaca farm and retreat where she hosts events for artists, creators and community to advance art, technology, food access and land regeneration.
As a certified Yoga instructor, Amy founded Vivero Yoga, a collaboration with The 44 Collective to offer yoga classes, workshops and retreats.
When she has a moment, you can find her sailing the BC coast, trying to train her scruffy dogs and lying in the grass with her alpacas.

Amy Zimmerman is the co-founder and developer of the Unity for Humanity Grant Program and executive producer focussed on XR and the intersection of tech, storytelling and environmental conservation.
After producing and developing several feature films, TV pilots and music videos, Amy joined Unity Technologies in 2016. As producer for a creative team of artists and engineers, her work included numerous event curation (Cannes Lions), behind the scenes documentaries, writing articles for Unity and acting as executive producer on XR content.
In 2018 Amy developed and co-founded the Unity for Humanity program which supports changemakers and their impact driven RT3D projects and initiatives. Under Amy’s leadership she grew the initiative from a one time grant into an entire flagship support program that offers creators continuous funding opportunities, technical support and fosters the impact driven creator community. Amy’s work also included developing the Unity for Humanity Summit to help increase project investment and partnerships.
Fostering partnerships in the XR creator community, Amy continues her work as a decision maker and mentor at many festivals worldwide (Venice, VR Days, Cannes) and executive produces environmental conservation driven Real Time 3D content and initiatives.
When she has a moment, you can find her sailing the Pacific, trying to train her numerous dogs, practicing yoga and running around the woods of the Pacific Northwest.
